Welcome to Football PEI
Our goal is to encourage all ages to participate in the three types of football PEI has to offer. Our history takes us back to the 70's and 80's when there were several minor football leagues who participated. Today we have Flag teams from East to West, 4 minor tackle football teams, 1 senior mens football team and 6 mens senior touch teams.
Flag Football on PEI
Flag football is a modified version of tackle football and provides participants with the opportunity to develop many of the same skills, tactics and strategies without the body contact (blocking and tackling). In flag football, defensive players pull the flag off the offensive player's belt to "stop" them as opposed to tackling the player. [..read more]
Tackle Football on PEI
The PEI Tackle Football League plays by Canadian football rules but with four downs including a mandatory passing down. Several of our graduates are now enrolled in university or college and playing football at the varsity level. [..read more]
Touch Football on PEI
Touch football has been run for many years in the City of Charlottetown. It has been a mainstay program of Football PEI and it continues to grow and develop. [..read more]
